Teach-Your-Teen Initiative

Current* Government figures suggest that on average Learners typically require 45 hours with a professional instructor plus a further 25 hours of private practise to attain L-Test standard.

Correctly preparing Learners for professional tuition can significantly reduce the number of 'paid-for' tuition hours required to attain L-Test standard.

We supply the Learner# - well before the first lesson - with our special instruction exercises - which the parent/guardian may use [off-road, on private ground] to give the learner experience of...

  • the instuments and controls;
  • practising the 'palming' gearchange;
  • the clutch 'bite-point';
  • moving off (forwards & reverse) and stopping;
  • steering using the 'pull-push' method;
  • reversing around a gradual and sharp left-hand corner;
  • reversing into a parking bay;
Using this, and other carefully designed training methods, our learners typically reach consistent L-Test standard after 25hours with us, plus a further 30 hours of private practice !
