Current* Government figures suggest that on average Learners typically require 45 hours with a professional instructor plus a further 25 hours of private practise to attain L-Test standard.
We use a structured Lesson plan, designed to the individual, which combines Pre-lesson study and 2-hour in-car Tuition with Post-lesson homework to significantly reduce the number of 'paid-for' tuition hours required.
We additionally provide the Client with our Private Practise instruction scripts to ensure that all private practise is to Test Standard...
- instruments and controls;
- vehicle checks, maintenance & safety;
- the 'error-proof' gearchange;
- controlling the clutch ('bite-point');
- moving off (forwards & reverse) and stopping;
- correct steering techniques;
- reversing around a gradual and sharp left-hand corner;
- reversing ( parking bay & parallel);
